➡️ The Old Farmer’s Almanac – Founded in 1792, it’s the oldest continuously published almanac in North America. Known for its long-range weather forecasts, astronomical data, gardening tips, recipes, folklore, and humor. History, heritage, and continuity are its hallmarks.
➡️ Farmers’ Almanac – Started in 1818, this almanac takes a practical, modern approach. It features long-range weather forecasts, gardening advice, home tips, natural remedies, and environmental articles. It blends old wisdom with a contemporary lifestyle focus.
Both almanacs use proprietary “secret” formulas for predicting weather. These are more folklore and entertainment than science.
✅ Important: The Farmers’ Almanac will stop publishing after 2026, but The Old Farmer’s Almanac will continue.
