Breathitt County Man Indicted on Sexual Abuse Charge Involving Child
BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. — A Breathitt County man has been indicted in connection to a sexual abuse case involving a minor.
According to court records, Jerry Adams was indicted on April 7, 2026, on one count of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree involving a victim under 12 years old, a Class C felony under Kentucky law.
The indictment alleges that on or about December 28, 2025, Adams knowingly subjected a child under the age of 12 to sexual contact.
Authorities state the charge falls under KRS 510.110.
Adams’ bond has been set at $10,000.
He is scheduled to appear for arraignment on April 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
