Stepfather of Jayden Spicer Appears in Court as Attorney Withdraws from Case
Joshua Gross, the stepfather of 10-year-old Jayden Spicer, appeared in court Friday seeking a reduction in his bond. However, the hearing did not go as planned after his attorney withdrew from the case, citing a conflict of interest.
Gross told the court he expects to secure new legal representation by next week. His request for a bond reduction has been rescheduled and will now be heard during a joint pretrial conference set for November 7.
Both Joshua and Jayden’s mother, Felicia Gross, remain in custody on charges connected to Jayden’s death who was found buried in a shallow grave inside a tote—just days after Felicia reported him missing..
