Former Berea School Employee Wanted on Multiple Sex Crime Charges

10/20/2025

BEREA, Ky. — Authorities in Berea are searching for a former school employee accused of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student.

According to Berea Police, 34-year-old Samantha Walker is wanted on multiple charges, including use of a minor in a sexual performance, first-degree sexual abuse, third-degree rape, third-degree sodomy, tampering with physical evidence, and distribution of obscene material to a minor.

Investigators say the case began in June after school officials raised concerns about a former teacher’s aide and bus monitor who was allegedly involved with a student at Berea Community School. Police reports indicate the student described the relationship as romantic and said it began while Walker was still employed at the school.

Detectives say Walker later admitted to portions of the allegations during an interview. She was initially taken into custody in July but has since been listed as wanted.

Anyone with information on Walker’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Berea Police Department at (859) 624-4776.
