Two days later, authorities arrested 57-year-old Antoine Miles, of Maryland, at an airport in Minnesota. Both men are facing charges related to the sex trafficking of a minor, along with other offenses, officials said.
Investigators also located another alleged victim — a critically missing juvenile — at a hotel in Towson. She was safely recovered by law enforcement.
These arrests and rescues stem from a joint human trafficking investigation involving Maryland State Police, Baltimore County Police, and the FBI. The initiative began after investigators discovered what appeared to be a young girl advertised online for sex acts in September, police said.
Phillip is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Miles is awaiting extradition to Maryland from Minnesota.
Authorities believe additional victims may be connected to the trafficking operation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Maryland State Police at 410-694-4700. Callers may remain anonymous.
