Rapper arrested after dancing on I-75 in Laurel County

Authorities in Laurel County say a rapper was taken into custody after being spotted running across Interstate 75 and dancing on the concrete barrier in the middle of the highway. According to the London Police Department, officers were called out around 6 p.m. Sunday after several drivers reported a man running in traffic along the southbound lanes of I-75. When police arrived, they identified the man as 31-year-old Enoch Tolbert of Clayton, Delaware — better known by his stage name Armani White. Officers said Tolbert was seen darting across the interstate, causing vehicles to slow down, before climbing onto the median wall and dancing. Dispatchers reportedly received multiple calls from concerned motorists about the incident. When questioned, Tolbert allegedly told police he had pulled over on the interstate to shoot a video. He was arrested and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and stopping, standing, or parking on a limited-access highway. Tolbert was taken to the Laurel County Correctional Center and later released. Court records list Tolbert as a professional rapper. After his release, he was advised by the jail to contact the court to schedule his court date. This report was gathered from public information and official reports.
