Traveling Veterinarian Accused of Sexually Assaulting Minors in Florida and Western Kentucky – Police Believe More Victims May Be Out There

Authorities say a traveling veterinarian who was taken into custody in Florida for allegedly assaulting a juvenile is now facing additional accusations tied to another victim in western Kentucky.

According to the Murray Police Department, investigators were contacted by the FBI regarding an ongoing case involving Gregory Ford, who was already under investigation for a sexual assault involving a minor in Florida.

While working the case, federal agents uncovered information pointing to another possible victim in Murray, Kentucky. Murray police launched their own investigation and say the alleged assault took place locally in 2024.

As a result, an arrest warrant was issued for Ford on charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.

Ford remains in custody in Florida, and Kentucky authorities plan to extradite him so he can face charges in Calloway County.

Investigators say Ford traveled through the Murray area several times throughout 2024 and believe there could be more victims who have not yet come forward.

The FBI is asking anyone with information related to Ford or additional victims to contact them through their official online reporting portal.
